LSG has amazing facilities for cricket, boasting two full sized fields with turf wickets and seven practice nets (four synthetic and three turf). It is home to the Lavington Panthers Cricket Club, with both seniors and junior teams training and hosting home games at the ground. In 2016-117, LSG hosted a WBBL competition match and BBL practice between Melbourne Stars and Sydney Thunder, attracting a crowds of up to 10,000.
The venue can be booked for exclusive use for cricket carnivals, clinics and matches at a community and commercial level.
