Teacup Community Garden

Est. 2016 Broad Street, East AlburyThe East Albury CommUnity Garden (TEACUP) has evolved into a green community space. The inspiration comes from an enthusiastic group of locals, excited about the development of this community space. The mantra is a "why not? Let's try" attitude. This has resulted in seed gathering, self-sowing areas and even potato plots. Regular working bees are held on the last Sunday of the month from 10am  and a social gathering on the 2nd Friday of the month at 5pm.

Installed in November 2016,  the garden has evolved into a green community space. The inspiration and perspiration comes from an enthusiastic group of locals, excited by the development of this community space. The mantra is really a "why not? Let's try it" attitude. This has resulted in seed gathering, self-sowing areas, even potato plots! Whilst many visit to potter around at different times, and a large number of locals work and sample.

Key dates each month:

2nd Friday 5.00pm for a social gathering

Last Sunday of the month 10.00am for a working bee.

All are very welcome to pop in, no strings attached.

Community gardens provide a space for like-minded individuals to get their hands dirty in a communal area, the opportunity to learn about gardening from the basics to the more advanced and brings together people from different areas, backgrounds and cultures to work as a community.
