Friends of the Gardens

The Friends of the Albury Botanic Gardens are a passionate group of people who share a love of plants and support the Botanic Gardens.

The Friends of the Albury Botanic Gardens gather behind the cottage, every Tuesday and Thursday between 9:30 am and 10: am to tend the plants and socialise.

The Friends of the Albury Botanic Gardens Inc., was established to promote enjoyment and interest in the Albury Botanic Gardens, by conducting activities for the benefit of its’ members and the public, in conjunction with the AlburyCity.

Our aims are to increase community awareness of the recreational, educational and conservation functions of the Gardens and may raise funds to enhance the continuing development of our great community asset.

The group has regular plant sales and caters for events. Money raised from their work is donated to improvements to the gardens.

The group has significantly contributed to the redevelopment of the Rose Gardens and the establishment of the Children's Garden.
