Cr Jessica Kellahan

Jessica is passionate about her community and its future growth. She cares deeply about the health, safety and wellbeing, social justice and equality for all people. She feels honoured to live on Wiradjuri Country by the banks of the Murray River.

Jessica is a local teacher who has worked in education on the Border for the past fifteen years having completed her schooling here in Albury. Jessica is an advocate for youth engagement and believes all young people should have access to meaningful learning. She is committed to improving educational outcomes for all people.

She is passionate about community engagement and volunteering, she leads by example and is connected to many local organisations ensuring the most vulnerable in our community are supported.

Jessica actively supports building a brighter future in the space of mental health across the Border ensuring adequate access to services for preventing, intervention and in-patient services for young people in our regional areas, continuing to improve the local health services is paramount to a healthy, happy and productive community.

Jessica enjoys spending time by the river with her husband and two young boys. She can be found riding and running along the many local tracks. She feels connected to her neighbours and the broader community of Albury
