Birds of Australia - Printmaking Workshop

Create your own dry -point etching print  in this interactive workshop.

Be inspired by The Birds of Australia exhibition and create your own bird print. In this workshop you will be led by experienced printmaker and instructor Caryn Giblin in the creation of your own dry-point etching, using a reference image of a bird. You will be guided step by step in etching the image onto a perspex plate, applying ink and then printing onto high quality paper. A bench top printing press will be used for printing and all materials will be supplied. At the end of the session, you will have several prints to take home to frame as is, or hand colour with watercolour or pencil.

This workshop is suitable for beginners.
