Home library service

We provide a free home library service that can deliver a wide range of items direct to local residents who experience challenges getting to the library.

If you're a person with disability or an older person who experiences challenges getting to and from your nearest library, we can help.

Our home library service will bring library items to your home and collect items to be returned – free of charge.

Once you have joined the service, we’ll be in touch to discuss the types of resources you’d like to borrow.

Items that can be delivered

  • books
  • audio books
  • CDs
  • magazines
  • DVDs
  • books in other languages.

To help you choose items, search the library catalogue online.

Your library membership card also provides you with online access to a range of databases and digital resources including books, magazines, newspapers, movies and music.
