Vacant to Vibrant Shopfronts

Transforming vacant shopfronts into vibrant, inspiring spaces as designed by local artists in our region.

AlburyCity is breathing new life into our city streets with the Vacant to Vibrant initiative, which has transformed empty shopfronts into striking works of art. Through this creative project, local artists have reimagined unused spaces as colourful canvases, turning vacant windows into eye-catching visual stories.

Installed across the Albury CBD, these vibrant artworks reflect the uplifting theme "Imagine the Possibilities", inviting passersby to see opportunity, creativity, and potential in every corner of our city. The designs spark curiosity, showcase regional talent, and help revitalise key retail spaces by enhancing the atmosphere and encouraging investment.

Vacant to Vibrant is part of the Albury Retail Action Plan and supports our vision to keep Albury thriving as a vibrant regional hub. We’re proud to celebrate our local artists and bring art into everyday spaces for the whole community to enjoy.

Take a stroll through town and discover the possibilities, right there on our shopfronts.
