Drop in and visit the Men’s Shed, have a look at our facilities and enjoy a friendly chat over a cuppa.
Founded in 2007, The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the peak body supporting almost 1000 Men’s Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male based community development organisations. However, the Albury Men’s Shed has been around for a lot longer than that, first being established as the Manual Activities Centre (“The MAC”) with the support of Albury North Rotary Club in 1978, and eventually joining the AMSA in 2016.
The Albury Men’s Shed carries with it a long tradition of community, connection and activity, and its members hold its commitment to supporting men in their pursuit of creativity through manual activities such as woodwork and metalwork, but also through social morning teas and the maintenance of genuine mateship among friends, both old and new.
