NSW Seniors Festival

March 2025

It's time to celebrate together!

Laugh, sing, dance, learn, explore and above all, celebrate when the NSW Seniors Festival kicks off.

This year’s theme is ‘Reach beyond’ and we encourage all our wonderful seniors to seek out new adventures, dabble in something new and experience the many amazing things happening in and around the city.

We all know the importance of keeping our minds and bodies active and engaged, so we’ve put together a raft of activities aimed to inspire and help you find something that you’ll love and continue to enjoy beyond the hype of the festival.

Gather your friends together to help you celebrate being a senior in Albury!

Who is NSW Seniors Festival for?

  • Albury residents 60 years of age or older
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders over the age of 50
  • People with a disability over the age of 50

We would like to say thanks to all our Seniors Festival partners and contributors. They’ve helped us put together a program packed with interesting, active, educational, and cultural activities for you to enjoy.

NSW Seniors Festival is the largest festival for seniors in the Southern Hemisphere, reaching up to 500,000 seniors each year.

Every year during NSW Seniors Festival, government, community and commercial organisations hold hundreds of events across the state, encompassing art, sport, music, entertainment, technology, recreation, health, good nutrition and much more!

Presented in partnership with the Department of Communities & Justice, It is a campaign designed to help deliver the NSW Ageing Strategy, celebrating the role seniors play and the contributions they make to the NSW community, aligning to the policy objective of inclusive communities.

All activities are free, unless specified otherwise.
