Planning Certificates

Provides you with information we have available about planning controls and other issues that may affect a particular parcel of land.

These certificates provide you with information we have available about planning controls and other issues that may affect a particular parcel of land as identified under Section 10.7 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2000.

There are two types of certificates:

  • A section 10.7(2) planning certificate details the zoning of the property, its relevant state, regional and local planning controls and other property information.
  • A section 10.7(2 & 5) planning certificate provides the same information but also includes additional information that we identify as pertinent to the land relating to the certificate.

Application process

You can apply for your planning certificate online an application form, complete and lodge upon payment at our Kiewa Street office. Your application will be processed within 3 working days from the date of system lodgement.

Urgent applications

Urgent planning certificates are processed within 1 working day from system lodgement for an additional fee.
