Young people across the region are invited to come together to celebrate wellbeing, creativity and connection at WellFest 2025 - a dynamic, youth-led festival organised by the Albury Youth Council.

Taking place on Saturday, 17 May 2025 in the Albury Botanic Gardens, WellFest is a free event and offers a vibrant program of live performances, interactive workshops, creative activities and expert-led discussions, all designed to empower young people to thrive.

Albury Youth Council Mayor Siahn O’Sullivan said WellFest is a vital initiative that gives young people a voice in shaping their own wellbeing journey.

"WellFest provides an opportunity to talk about mental health and the impact it has on them and promote the services that can help young people who might be having a hard time,” Siahn said.

Albury Youth Council is made up of passionate young volunteers who have been actively involved in planning the event.

Albury Mayor Kevin Mack praised the Youth Council’s efforts and encouraged young people to get involved.

"WellFest is an outstanding example of what young people can achieve when given the opportunity to lead," Mayor Mack said.

"This event not only showcases the creativity and resilience of our youth but also provides an important platform for discussions around mental health and wellbeing. I encourage all young people and their families to come along and be part of this empowering day."

Highlights of WellFest 2025 include:

  • Live performances by Laylah Baines, Ella Crathern, Mia & Toby, and Lucia Richardson
  • Youth support services providing information and resources
  • Young Creators Market featuring talented young artists, makers and entrepreneurs
  • Food trucks offering a variety of delicious options

By creating a positive and supportive space, WellFest encourages mindfulness, healthy lifestyles and self-expression. It also fosters lasting community connections that continue well beyond the festival itself.

WellFest will take place in the Albury Botanic Gardens, near the rose garden, from 10am to 3pm.

Join us and be part of a youth-led celebration of mental health, resilience and community spirit.
