Tickets are now on sale for Aurora, the award-winning immersive light and sound experience cherished by the community, which makes its highly anticipated return with an all-new oceanic adventure ‘Tides of Treasure’.

Running for a limited season from Friday 4 July to Sunday 27 July, this year's story invites visitors to journey beneath the waves, follow glowing trails, meet magical sea creatures and search for the lost key to unlock the hidden treasure.

Following three very popular seasons, Aurora returns to transform Albury’s Botanic Gardens into a nighttime sensory wonderland, where storytelling, technology and nature come together in a breathtaking display.

New highlights and returning crowd favourites include:

  • A new ocean theme, ‘Tides of Treasure’ bringing the coast to the country
  • Light projections inspired by mysteries of the deep blue
  • Holograms of creatures of the sea and the protagonist (hint: it reaches far and wide)
  • Interactive projections and light-reactive spheres that react to touch
  • The glow of bioluminescence interacting with guests’ movements
  • A dreamy ocean filled with floating, ethereal sea life

Angela Davis, Laservision’s Art Director, shared the inspiration behind this year’s theme.

“With Tides of Treasure, we’ve created a narrative that celebrates both the marine world and the spirit of discovery. We're especially excited to debut new interactive zones – they reflect the energy and enthusiasm the community brings to this experience each year.”

Albury Mayor Kevin Mack said Aurora is a highlight of the city’s winter events calendar.

“Aurora will light up our city - quite literally - with creativity, innovation and wonder. It’s wonderful to see our beautiful Botanic Gardens transformed into a place of imagination and magic that delights people of all ages. We’re thrilled to welcome the coast to the country with ‘Tides of Treasure’ and can’t wait for locals and visitors to experience the magic of this unique event.”

For the past three years, tickets to Aurora have sold fast. Organisers recommend planning your visit in advance, so you don’t miss out.
Aurora will run nightly, opening on Friday 4 July and closing on Sunday 27 July.

Tickets to Aurora start from $10 for children, $15 for adults and $40 for a family (of four). Infants under two go free!
