Landscape designer, horticulturist, and 7-time Logie award winning television presenter Jamie Durie returns to Gardenesque 2025, Albury’s largest flower and garden festival.
Durie will be the keynote speaker at the annual event, held on 8-9 March at the Albury Botanic Gardens. He’ll also be available for meet and greet opportunities with the community across the weekend.
“We’re excited to welcome Jamie Durie back to Albury for Gardenesque 2025,” Mayor Kevin Mack said.
“A well-known and respected figure in the world of horticulture and garden design, his knowledge and will be invaluable to budding local gardeners.”
Jamie has hosted Backyard Blitz, The Block, House Rules, and more recently Growing Home with Jamie Durie on Channel 7.
He has authored 12 garden design titles and has spent over two decades shaping some of the world’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. In 2008 Jamie won a gold medal at Britain’s prestigious Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show. A passionate environmentalist Jamie was awarded a Centenary Medal from The Prime Minister of Australia and a Medal of the Order of Australia for his services to the Australian Environment and charities.
Jamie headlines a range of industry experts who will be on-hand for a series of interactive workshops, designed to inspire ideas for planting, growing and cultivating at home.
Other workshops will cover designing and landscaping green spaces, sustainable living and producing fresh backyard food.
Gardenesque will also feature delicious food and beverages, live music from local and featured artists, roving entertainment, kids’ activities and fresh local produce.
“Gardenesque is a great way to spend the weekend walking around our iconic Botanic Gardens, perusing the many stalls, exhibitions and workshops for gardening tips and tricks,” Cr Mack said.
“This year we have a huge 88 exhibitors compared to 67 last year, so there is even more to see.”
