Mayor encourages community to provide feedback on hospital Master Plan

Tuesday 17 October 2023

AlburyCity encourages the community to share feedback with the project team following the release of the Master Plan for the $558 million Albury Wodonga Regional Hospital project.

A great deal of work has been undertaken by our community to advocate for better health services for our region, and we’re pleased to see the project move to this important next stage.

We understand the Master Plan is high-level and doesn’t yet cover all of the detail, but it does show the site’s capacity for improved infrastructure to meet current and future needs. Our community is looking forward to seeing more detail including the release of the Clinical Services Plan and detailed design in the next stages of project development planning.

We encourage our community to learn more about the project during the next phase of consultations led by NSW Health Infrastructure and Albury Wodonga Health. During these sessions the project team will be sharing the Master Plan and welcoming feedback that will help shape future planning and design.

Sessions in the Albury Wodonga region include:

  • Wednesday 18 October:
    • Albury Hospital campus, 201 Borella Road, East Albury | 10am to 2pm
    • Wodonga Hospital campus, 53 – 81 Vermont Street, Wodonga | 10am to 2pm
  • Thursday 19 October: Thurgoona Plaza, 10 Shuter Avenue, Thurgoona | 11am to 2pm

  • Tuesday 24 October, 4pm to 5pm – register here
