Enjoy a day of family fun at the Albury Riverside Precinct

Wednesday 4 October 2023

The new Albury Riverside Precinct now enhances our beloved Murray River in South Albury, making the perfect addition to the popular Noreuil Park Foreshore. To celebrate the start of Spring, AlburyCity is hosting a free family-friendly community event on Saturday 7 October from 10am - 2pm.

Prepare to be amazed by the magic energy of magician Elio Simonetti, enjoy roving entertainment by mesmerising bubble-blowing performers Bubble Tonic and brightly coloured illuminated creatures EscarGlow, and have a bit of fun with free kids’ face painting.

Bowens Entertainment will be there to MC and DJ in Steve’s well-known energetic style, and DJ Uptown Brown will get you up on your feet with a Summer-inspired soundtrack.

An array of food trucks including Navy Brew, Cloud9Coffee, Gypsies Catering, Redhead and Chef, Melting Madness, Monumental Ice Cream and Woodfire Desire will tantalise your taste buds, and our local Rotary Club will be firing up the barbie. The community woodfired ovens will also be up and running, so feel free to bring your own food down.

AlburyCity Mayor Kylie King said, “We’ve been pleased to see so many people making use of the new Riverside Precinct for walking, cycling, fishing, swimming, picnicking, barbecuing and more.”

“I encourage everyone to gather their friends and family and come on down to celebrate the start of the warmer weather at the beautiful new space.”
