Celebrate Spring with us at Gardenesque

Thursday 1 September 2022

Albury's feature flower and garden festival will return to our iconic Albury Botanic Gardens next month!

Tickets are now on sale for Gardenesque, which will take place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October 2022.

Our Botanic Gardens will be buzzing with beautiful blooms, stunning floral and garden displays, as well as interactive spaces you can touch, smell, eat and explore with friends and family.

One of the key highligts of the festival will be the apprearance of renowned Australian landscape architect, environmental educator and TV personality, Costa Georgiadis. With passion and enthusiasm, Costa will be here to entertain and educate as a co-host on the Sunday, spreading an important green-thumb message around creating a permanent self-sustaining culture.

You'll be able to interact with inspiring spaces for the backyard gardener, feast your eyes on amazing garden designs and displays put together by industry experts, and check out an array of unique exhibits, talks and workshops from those in-the-know.

But it's not all about gardening - there will be live music and free entertainment for the whole family, as well as regional food, craft beer, local wine and botanical gins for the grown-ups!

AlburyCity Mayor Kylie King encouraged the whole community to come and enjoy a day out in the beautiful Botanic Gardens.

"I'm so excited we are able to bring back Gardenesque after a two-year hiatus during COVID," Mayor King said.

"I'd encourage everyone to come down and enjoy a fun day out, whether you are a keen backyard gardener or just want to soak up the atmosphere with family and friends."

Discounted tickets are available to pre-purchase from today onwards, at $10 for adults, $8 for concession card holders, $5 for kids and $25 for families.

Get them on the Gardenesque website or in person at the Albury Entertainment Centre.

You can also purchase tickets on the day using EFTPOS.

Gardenesque is brought to you by AlburyCity, and proudly supported by Barlens, 2AY, Arrow Landscape Gardening, Pop's Wheelbarrow, Meet PAT, Shape Scraper and Harris Farm Markets.
