Calling Aboriginal artists / creatives for Expressions of Interest

We are seeking expressions of interest from Aboriginal artists and creatives to produce work to be displayed at Albury LibraryMuseum.

The aim of this commission is to welcome LibraryMuseum visitors, educate visitors on Wiradjuri culture and the Aboriginal history of Albury and surrounds, create conversations, encourage connection, and acknowledge that we are on Wiradjuri Country.

We are open to different themes or stories that reflect the LibraryMuseum’s location on Wiradjuri country, using traditional or contemporary art forms and techniques, historic or contemporary cultural objects, and images.

View the Artist Brief or download below for more information including possible locations and considerations. We are here to discuss your ideas and strongly encourage you to do so prior to the submission date.
