Spiny headed Mat-rush (Lomandra longifolia)

Striking foliage plant with honey scented flowers in spring. Versatile and effective as a specimen plant, near ponds, under trees, as a border and in containers. Very hardy and tolerates drought and water logging, good habitat and attracts seed eating native birds, butterflies and moths.
