Sort your load and save
Separate reusable and recyclable materials before you visit to reduce disposal costs and keep resources out of landfill.
Before you leave home
Sort materials into groups and load your vehicle or trailer in the reverse order you will unload them.
Place general waste at the bottom, followed by green waste and building materials. Place steel and recyclable items on top so they can be unloaded first.
Secure your load before travelling.
Unsorted loads may be charged at the general-waste rate or refused if the materials cannot be identified.
