Albury Riverside Precinct

The Albury Riverside Precinct is a public open space that provides spectacular riverside experiences for locals and visitors.

The Albury Riverside Precinct features an elevated boardwalk for all abilities along the river to Bungambrawatha Creek, jetty access, a floating dock, river viewing points, BBQ/picnic facilities, shade structures, car parking, lighting, landscaping and pathways from Hovell Tree Park to the Albury Swim Centre.

A pathway along the river's edge on Hovell Tree Drive also provides a new space for community events and markets, as well as encouraging active recreation, like walking and cycling with a more accessible connection to other areas of the foreshore, like Noreuil Park.

The precinct has been designed with accessibility in mind, with ramps available for access by wheelchairs so everyone can enjoy the space. There is also accessible carparking available on Hume Street between the precinct and Hovell Tree Park.

Public toilet facilities are located at the adjacent Hovell Tree Park, with a new Changing Places toilet currently under construction.

OUR
ACKNOWLEDGMENT

AlburyCity acknowledges the Wiradjuri people as the traditional custodians of the land in which we live and work and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and future for they hold the memories, culture, tradition and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that contribute to our community.
