Expressions of Interest - Lease of Turks Head Building

AlburyCity seeks Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified persons or organisations for the long-term lease of this heritage listed building, located on the premier gateway into Albury.

Adjacent to the Murray River, Oddies Creek Play Space, Australia Park and the new 65-space car park, this prominent location fronting Wodonga Place (the main thoroughfare linking Albury and Wodonga), offers an opportunity to activate this versatile building to become a centrepiece of the social, cultural and economic future of our Riverside Precinct for visitors and local residents alike.

Council has developed Murray River Experience concept plans, which contain upgrades to enhance the nearby Oddies Creek waterway into a focal wetland environment. Compatible operations from the Turks Head Building would ideally provide passive or active recreational, social, educational, and cultural pursuits that further enhances this developing area.
