Hoarding approvals
You need approval before placing hoarding, scaffolding, equipment or other temporary structures on a Council road or footpath.
When approval is required
- temporary parking
- hoists, cranes or lifts
- scaffolding or hoarding
- skip bins or shipping containers
- donation or collection bins

1. Review the requirements
Read the relevant policies and application guidelines.
2. Complete the application form
Provide details of the proposed activity, location and dates.
If approved, you must comply with the conditions of the approval and the relevant Council policies.
3. Lodge and pay
Lodge the application at the Kiewa Street Customer Service Centre and pay the applicable fee. Council will then assess the application.
