About

Gardenesque

Albury’s flagship flower and garden festival is set to return with a buzz in October 2021!

The highly successful Gardenesque festival will return on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October 2021.

The term Gardenesque means a style of garden introduced by John Claudius Loudon in the early 1800s, which places emphasis on the formal or artistic display of plants as opposed to the naturalistic.

We’ve named our event Gardenesque to reflect the elegance and heritage charm of our Albury Botanic Gardens which will form the backdrop to a feast of floral and gardening festivities alive with colour, music and immersive activities. This year’s program is set to feature beautiful garden displays, a huge array of unique exhibits, talks and workshops and celebrity speakers. There will be roving entertainment, plants, great food, fun and live music.

If you're an aspirational gardener or a more experienced and avid lover of plants, succulents, trees and flowers, or simply want a great family day out, you won’t want to miss Gardenesque 2021! There really is something from everyone!
