National U15 AFL Championships

This national carnival hosts Australian Football teams from schools across Australia and encompasses five days of football played at the Lavington Sports Ground and a number of immersive cultural experiences in our region for the students.

Lavington Sports Ground plays host to over 300 students and their families this July at the National U15 AFL Championships.

Students and families attending the event are encouraged to contact their school sports coordinator for more information.

Saturday 23 July - opening ceremony at the ground

Sunday 24 and Monday 25 July  - matches played at the ground

Tuesday 26 July - cultural immersion day for players at Burraja Cultural Centre

Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 July - matches played at the ground

Friday 29 July -  rest and  explore day for players and families

Saturday 30 July - final day matches and closing ceremony
