Planet Ark’s National Tree Day

When: Sunday 28 July, 9.30am - 1.00pm

Where: Wonga Wetlands, Riverina Highway, West Albury

Price: Free

Grab your family and come get your hands dirty as we plant native trees and shrubs at Wonga Wetlands. You'll be helping to provide habitat for the wonderfully diverse bird and animal life that call this place home, and those who stop by whilst migrating each year.

We'll be meeting at the Waterview Road Marshalling Area at 11.00am. It's a good idea to wear suitable clothing including sturdy footwear and a hat. Make sure you also bring gloves, drinks and snacks. Tools, plants and a BBQ lunch will be provided.

For those who have their bikes, you'll get the chance to go for a ride and check out the the next stage of the Wagirra Trail which is currently under construction.

All welcome! Planting will go ahead rain, hail or shine.

RSVP Get in touch with Jan Mitchell on info@alburycity.nsw.gov.au or call 02 6023 8111 by the 24 July. If you can't attend and would still like to be involved, check out Planet Ark’s calendar of events.
