Music in the Gardens - Jazz Party

When: 1pm - 3pm Sunday 19 May 2019

Where: Albury Botanic Gardens, Wodonga Place, Albury

Price: FREE

Meet the Jazz Party - an eight-piece powerhouse with a punk attitude, furious drums, soaring vocal harmonies and horns.

Jazz Party features vocalist, pianist and heart breaker Hue Blanes, as well as former members of The Rackettes, bassist and cult hero Jules Pascoe and the supreme diva, Loretta Miller.

Well-dressed jazz punks with a passion for classic and neo soul, Jazz Party play RnB inspired tunes with a contemporary bent. With Darcy McNulty’s wailing saxophone leading the horns section, the silver-tongued backing vocals by the jazzboys form the perfect backdrop to the almighty roar of lead lady and soul diva Loretta Miller. This is Jazz Party.

Bring your family and friends, pack a picnic and enjoy the rock n'roll style of the Jazz Party! A limited number of chairs and tables are provided, with ample space for your own picnic rug and cushions. BBQ, ice-creams, coffee and Posh Plonk's selection of wines available for sale. BYO alcohol is permitted. Music in the Gardens is a smoke-free event.

Music in the Gardens is a series of free outdoor concerts staged at the Albury Botanic Gardens during Spring and Autumn presented by AlburyCity and Johnsons MME with support from the Murray Conservatorium.
