Dont miss multi-platinum selling and five-time ARIA award-winning singer and songwriter Katie Noonan as she returns with her ARIA Award winning jazz trio Elixir featuring Zac Hurren – for a magical afternoon of music and poetry. 

Elixir has enjoyed much success and great commendation along the way including: an ARIA Award (Best Jazz Album 2011), 13 weeks at #1 on the ARIA Jazz Chart, TV & Festival appearances.

The trio exists to explore new musical opportunities and relationships and thrives in unusual collaborative environments. Elixir seeks to explore the relationship between text and sound and celebrate great Australian poetry.

The concert will feature the new ‘Gratitude and Grief’ collaboration between Elixir and Michael Leunig, showcasing a unique combination of poetry, angelic vocals and sublime improvisation. With some of Elixir’s previous catalogue and a few of their favourite songs by other artists, this promises to be a truly special event.

Bring your family and friends, pack a picnic and enjoy the magical sounds of Ellixir! A limited number of chairs and tables are provided, with ample space for your own picnic rug and cushions. BBQ, ice-creams, coffee and Posh Plonk's selection of wines available for sale. BYO alcohol is permitted. Music in the Gardens is a smoke-free event.

Music in the Gardens is a series of free outdoor concerts staged at the Albury Botanic Gardens during Spring and Autumn presented by AlburyCity and Johnsons MME with support from the Murray Conservatorium.
