The Bells - 5 Angry Men

All the performers know is the bells must be rung but they’re not quite sure why. The more confused they are, the harder they try to achieve it. The results are hilarious, tragic, violent and absurd.

All the performers know is the bells must be rung but they’re not quite sure why. The more confused they are, the harder they try to achieve it. The results are hilarious, tragic, violent and absurd. This is a spectacle of endurance, discipline and ultimately utter exhaustion as they attempt to finish their impossible task.

The Bells performance by 5 Angry Men forms part of the Upstream gala opening. Join us on the Noreuil Park foreshore for a night filled with spectacular feats and curious wonder. From music, to dance, acrobat feats and gourmet feasts, there is something for everyone on the first night of the festival.

The evening gets under way from 5pm but be sure to immerse yourself in the many artistic displays you can experience in the space all weekend.
