Join local wildflower specialists at the annual Nail Can Hill Wildflower Walk.

During spring, Nail Can Hill is one of the most spectacular areas for wildflowers in the Albury area.
This event is a wonderful opportunity to experience the distinctive beauty of the Nail Can Hill wildflowers and this special woodland, right on our doorstep.

Free guided walks with local wildflower specialists will be available for various levels of adventure – with 40 minute and 1.5 hour walks, plus children’s activities.

Discover flowers including chocolate lilies, which are Cadbury purple in colour and really do have a chocolate vanilla-like scent; yellow paper daisies; white milkmaids; exquisite native orchids and many more. Don’t miss your change to explore these beauties while they are out in full bloom.

Due to a high interest guided walk options are now fully booked out for the 2018 event, however you are still very welcome to attend, enjoy our free barbecue, take a self-guided walk amongst the wildflowers along twister trail.

Self- Guided Wildflower Walk

Follow the signs long twister trail and explore the wildflowers at your own pace. Experience the distinctive beauty of the Nail Can Hill wildflowers and this special woodland, right on Albury’s doorstep. This self-guided tour will be available from 11am on the day of the Wildflower Walk and will continue throughout the entire month of October. The trail will be updated regularly throughout this period as different flowers come into bloom. Wildflowers you may experience during your walk include the golden yellow colours of the various wattle species, chocolate lilies, which are purple in colour and really do have a chocolaty vanilla-like scent; yellow paper daisies; white milkmaids; exquisite native orchids and many more. Don’t miss your chance to see these beauties whilst they’re all still out in full bloom.
