Through a series of workshops with artist Ashlee Laing, LGBTIQA+ participants have developed works in reflection of their experiences and expression of their identity.

All over the world, people face inequality, discrimination and violence just because of who they love, how they dress and how they identify themselves. We all have the right to be treated equally, no matter our sexual orientation, gender identity or the type of body we have. Despite recent wins for equality around the world, in many countries – including Australia – the right to express who we are is still being challenged.

This project brought together young people from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and queer community plus all people with diverse bodies sexualities or genders (LGBTIQA+). Through a series of workshops with artist Ashlee Laing, participants developed works in reflection of their experiences and expression of their identity.
