This exhibition reveals the life story of Jewish girl Anne Frank from her birth in 1929 to her death in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945. Let Me Be Myself connects the personal story told in Anne Frank’s famous diaries to important historical events of that time: the rise of Nazism, the persecution of Jews and the Holocaust. Addressing the topics of prejudice, discrimination and exclusion, the exhibition also highlights the contemporary relevance of Anne Frank’s story.
