Connecting with the Community - Children's Week 2021

Create a video or artwork for Children's Week 2021.

In celebration of Children’s Week  (23-31 October) we want  to hear from kids aged 4 -12 in the State Electorate of Albury.. Khancoban to Tumbarumba, Holbrook to Rand, Mulwala to Urana and Jerilderie to Morundah……

These are challenging times for communities. The Advocate of Children and Young People is inviting children across the state to come together and create uplifting messages to share with their local communities.

The ACYP is asking kids to create a 1 minute video in response to any or all of the following questions:

1. What does love, connection and safety mean to you?
2. How does your community come together?
3. How do you have fun and connect with your friends?
4. How are you safely connecting with your friends during these challenging times?

Children are also encouraged to share their ideas through artworks or any medium of their choice.

The Advocate for Children and Young People promotes the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all children and young people in NSW and the participation of children and young people in decision making that affects their lives.

The ACYP will share your video with the Albury State Local Member and create a highlights video from all participating electorates across NSW.

If your child would like to submit a video or artwork,  please complete this consent form and you will then receive further information.
