Find out how you can access your waste vouchers digitally using your smartphone or tablet device.

Introduction

Get access to your digital waste and recycling vouchers by creating an online Resident Services account. An account allows you to redeem your annual waste and recycling vouchers while providing access to your voucher usage history and active vouchers.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the vouchers, you must be:

  • an AlburyCity ratepayer with a domestic kerbside bin service.
  • live in the property as your principal place of residence.

What you'll need

  • a current AlburyCity rates notice and assessment number.
  • a computer or mobile device (iOS or Android).

How to apply

  1. Select the ‘Register Now’ button at the bottom of the page.
  2. Follow the prompts to or create your Resident Services account or to login.
  3. Verify your property by selecting your suburb and street address.
  4. Input your rates notice assessment number.

If successful, you'll:

  • see your waste and recycling vouchers on the screen.

How to use the vouchers

  1. Log in to the Resident Services app on your mobile device.
  2. Present the voucher QR code to scan as you're leaving the Albury Waste Management Centre.
  3. Your device will show the voucher as being used.

If you do not have a mobile device, you can download and print your waste and recycling vouchers from your Resident Services web app. Printed vouchers will be scanned when departing the Albury Waste Management Centre.

Voucher guides

Terms and Conditions

  1. Your vouchers entitle you to dispose of general household waste, garden and home building waste.
  2. Each voucher is valid for up to 500kgs of waste. Loads over this amount will require additional vouchers.
  3. Vouchers cannot be used for commercial or industrial waste, tyres and asbestos.
  4. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
  5. Selling vouchers is not permitted.
  6. All residents are required to separate recyclables from general waste at the Albury Waste Management Centre.
  7. A mattress, bed base, a second refrigerator, freezer, or air conditioner each require one voucher, or charges will apply. Additional waste disposed of at the same time will require a second voucher, or charges will apply.
  8. Lost vouchers can be replaced, phone us on 02 6023 8111 or email info@alburycity.nsw.gov.au to arrange a replacement. Any vouchers previously used will be voided and are unable to be used again.
  9. Owners of multiple properties are only entitled to vouchers for the property they reside within. Where exceptional circumstances exist, multiple property owners may seek vouchers for their tenanted properties.
  10. AlburyCity retains the right to make the final decision on the volume of waste accepted under the voucher system. If your load exceeds the allowance outlined above, charges will apply.
