Annual Cemetery Maintenance

We’ll be carrying out our annual maintenance and beautification of burial and memorial sites at Glenmorus Memorial Gardens & Crematorium, Waugh Road, and Pioneer Cemeteries from Monday 20 February to Friday 3 March 2023.

Please remove all personal items before 7am on Monday 20 February to ensure they are not disposed of during this process.

We request that all mementos you wish to retain, including artificial flowers, are removed from burial and memorialisation sites and taken home prior to 7.30am on the first Monday in February. As part of the maintenance program, items remaining on all sites after this time will be disposed of by AlburyCity Cemetery team. Once disposed of, the items are non-recoverable.

Small fresh or silk flower tributes may be returned to the site after the completion of the maintenance and all items must be smaller than 30cm, keeping clear of the lawn and mowing strips to reduce accidental damage. They can be returned after Friday 3 March 2023.
