Keeping Albury connected

Tuesday 28 January 2020
Handling up to 20,000 containers a year, Ettamogah Rail Hub connects Albury to domestic and international markets via rail and road.

Boasting a connected location, strategically located within the Sydney-Melbourne-Adelaide triangle, Albury is well placed to become a transport and logistics hot spot with key players including the Ettamogah Rail Hub.

Already servicing a number of local businesses, the Ettamogah Rail Hub provides containerised rail and road freight transport in and out of Albury.

Situated adjacent to the main Melbourne – Sydney rail line and with easy access to the Hume Freeway, Ettamogah Rail Hub provides an integral service to the local business community.

Ettamogah Rail Hub Group Executive, Colin Rees, confirmed the Hub will continue to expand operations as the business grows. “We’ll significantly increase our capacity as a result of a new $7.6 million rail siding (currently under construction) thanks to the NSW Government Fixing Country Rail program,” he said.

“The rail industry is going through a period of transition with the construction of Inland Rail changing the way we think about the movement of freight.”

We look forward to seeing the continued growth of the transport and logistics sector as we continue to promote investment in Albury.
