Bands to rock QEII

Christmas will come early for Albury’s young people this year when the first-ever Retro Xmas Gig is held in QEII Square on 22 December.

The gig – which will staged on the night before Carols by Candlelight - will be headlined by Melbourne act Bakers Eddy and supported by local performers Tullie Roberts, ELK, Cheese Graters and Tahli Gibson.

They’ll play on a stage set up for Carols outside the Albury Entertainment Centre.

Run by the Youth Management Committee at Retro Lane Café, it will be a drug and alcohol-free, all-ages concert with the proceeds of food sales in the square to go towards AlburyCity’s youth programs.

Entry is free.
