New visitor guide for Albury and Wodonga
The third annual Albury Wodonga Official Visitor Guide is now out.
The Visitor Guide includes accommodation options, local attractions, entertainment venues and maps of both Albury and Wodonga and boasts stunning imagery to entice visitors to the region.
The past 12 months have seen both Albury and Wodonga's tourism teams working collaboratively on a number of projects including the new destination brand, the Visit Albury Wodonga website and the Visitor Guide.
There will be 63,500 copies of the Official Visitor Guide distributed throughout Australia.
"As well as adding vibrancy to our cities, tourism has a strong economic impact," AlburyCity Mayor Cr Henk van de Ven said. "Tourism injected more than $751 million into the Albury Wodonga economy during 2014, which included 1.15 million day visitors across both cities."
Domestic overnight visitors hit a five year high in the region with 1,368,000 spending at least one night in Albury or Wodonga throughout 2014.
You can collect a copy of the new Albury Wodonga Visitor Guide from visitor information centres in Albury (Railway Place, corner Smollett and Young streets) or Wodonga (Hovell St).
