Centaur Road, from Overend Street to Tip Road, is undergoing a full reconstruction commencing early June.
The reconstruction will include the removal and replacement of all road pavement, and construction of new kerb, footpath, and driveways. A new shared path is to be installed along the southern side of the road, along with pedestrian crossing in the centre of the pavement. Intersection works will be constructed on the Centaur Road and Mudge Street intersection to improve safety and turning manoeuvres for road users.
Access for road users to the Albury Waste Management Centre, Recycle Centre, Albury Pound Animal Shelter and residents of Hamilton Valley will be managed by traffic controllers as necessary to enhance the safety of residents, contractors, AlburyCity staff and the general public. Residential access will be made available, although minor delays may be experienced.
