NSW Seniors Festival is the largest festival for seniors in the Southern Hemisphere, reaching up to 500,000 seniors each year.
Every year during NSW Seniors Festival, government, community and commercial organisations hold hundreds of events across the state, encompassing art, sport, music, entertainment, technology, recreation, health, good nutrition and much more!
Presented in partnership with the Department of Communities & Justice, It is a campaign designed to help deliver the NSW Ageing Strategy, celebrating the role seniors play and the contributions they make to the NSW community, aligning to the policy objective of inclusive communities.
All activities are free, unless specified otherwise.
Laugh, sing, dance, learn, explore and above all, celebrate when the NSW Seniors Festival kicks off Monday, 2 to Sunday 15 March 2026.
This year’s theme is ‘Live Life in Colour’ and we encourage all our wonderful seniors to seek out new adventures, dabble in something new and experience the many amazing things happening in and around the city.
We all know the importance of keeping our minds and bodies active and engaged, so we’ve put together a raft of activities aimed to inspire and help you find something that you’ll love and continue to enjoy beyond the hype of the festival.
Gather your friends together to help you celebrate being a senior in Albury!
