Calling all First Nations artists for Expression of Interest
We are launching an open-air gallery on exterior walls along AMP Lane from Dean Street to Smollett Street. This is an ongoing program which involves changeover of artworks. Each exhibition will bring together works by four artists.
The inaugural exhibition will take place in NAIDOC week 2023. We call for all First Nations artists to express their interest in creating a series of five new works and exhibiting from the beginning of July for four to six months. All 2D forms of art are welcome (print, photography, painting, text-based work, digital illustration, mixed medium, etc.)
Each artist will receive a fee of $2,000. To be considered for the commission, please express your interest by 5pm, Sunday 7 May, 2023 to info@alburycity.nsw.gov.au.
Please submit a single PDF with the following documents, and include '23/01144 – Lightbox Open-air Gallery' as the email's subject.
