An ecosystem of lagoons and billabongs, Wonga Wetlands covers 80 hectares of Murray River flood plain, home to a variety of wildlife, century old river red gums and an Indigenous scar tree. Over 176 species of birds use Wonga as their home making it a mecca for bird watchers from around the world.

There are three different walks you can take with the longest being 2.4kms on your walk you will see kangaroos, platypus, turtles and hundreds of photo opportunities.

Wonga is a short drive from Albury’s CBD making it a peaceful and relaxing spot for anyone wanting to be that little bit closer to nature.
