The risk of exposure to Coronavirus (COVID-19) is believed to be highest for those people who have travelled through a high risk country. However, there are an increasing number of other countries at risk of Coronavirus.
As of midday Wednesday 25 March, the Smartraveller advice has been upgraded to a full travel ban for all Australians. You will not be able to depart Australia to travel overseas.
If you’re travelling or returning to Australia, and arrive from 12am on Monday 16 March, you will be required to self-isolate (Coronavirus COVID-19 isolation guidance) for 14 days. This applies to all travellers, including Australian citizens. For details see the Australian Border Force website
