Botanic Gardens
For more than 130 years, the Albury Botanic Gardens has been the jewel in our CBD crown. Our Gardens boast more than 1,000 native and exotic plant species as well as a magical children’s garden, which inspires exploration in little and big people alike.
Open seven days a week, entry is free.

Albury’s Riverside Precinct includes a range of beautiful spaces to relax and enjoy nature by the banks of the Murray River.
NOREUIL PARK FORESHORE
The perfect place to go for a swim or float around the river bend, grab something delicious from The River Deck Café, or simply take in our glorious natural environment under the shade of a tree.

HOVELL TREE PARK
Home to the Community Wood Fired Oven, BBQ facilities, the historic Hovell Tree, and a children’s playground. The Community Wood Fired Ovens are fired up every second Sunday for free community use. Bring your bread, roasts, pies, pizzas (whatever you fancy!) and we’ll assist you in taking them in and out of the hot oven.

Mungabareena Reserve
‘Mungab’ as it’s affectionately known, is officially recognised as an Aboriginal place and holds great cultural significance to the Wiradjuri people. Mungab is a popular swimming, fishing and picnic area, with a boat ramp and fish cleaning station. Explore the many near-by trails of the area, taking in indigenous flora and fauna, wetlands, billabongs and lagoons.
