COVID-19

The health and safety of both the public and participants has been foremost in the design of Christmas in our Heart.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us by emailing info@alburycity.nsw.gov.au and remember to always refer to the latest information on the NSW Government website.  Please see below for details on what we request from you if you are attending the event and what we are doing to ensure an COVID-safe.

To help keep the event COVID-safe and in keeping with government directives we request that members of the public attending the Christmas Festival follow these steps:

  • If you are sick please stay home and get tested
  • Please wear a face mask at all times at the event
  • Please maintain a minimum physical distance of 1.5m from other attendees
  • Please practise good hygiene whilst at the event (e.g. cough and sneezing etiquette)
  • Please use bins provided
  • Please use hand sanitiser stations where provided
  • Please follow any displayed instructions and signage (e.g. ground markings, capacity numbers and posters)
  • Please follow any instructions by event staff in relation to COVID-safe practices (e.g. queuing and viewing areas)
  • Where relevant, please scan location QR codes and provide your name and contact details for the purposes of contract tracing

To ensure a COVID-safe event, and in keeping with government directives, we are:

  • Incorporating wide open and outdoor spaces as venues to allow for social distancing and air flow
  • Providing workers with PPE where appropriate
  • Ensuring regular cleaning schedules are in place
