Activities in Parks & Reserves
Commercial Activities on Public Land
Activation of our parks and open space to provide more opportunities for our community to get out and be more active and engaged is an important aspect of promoting Albury’s liveability.
We have designated public spaces in high profile areas where commercial operators can set-up mobile food and drink vending, personal training and canoeing. Approval is via an Expression of Interest process.
These designated spaces include our Riverside Precinct, Wonga Wetlands and Kremur Street Boat Ramp. Due to existing lease agreements, operators wanting to set-up mobile food and drink vending activities in our Riverside Precinct will be assessed on a case by case basis.
If you have a business and want to take advantage of this opportunity, we encourage you to have a chat with us first. Contact Customer Service on 6023 8111.
Activities proposed within these designated public spaces are undertaken as part of the Commercial Activities on Public Land policy:
If you are wanting to undertake a commercial activity that is not located in a designated area as outlined above, please contact Council, 6023 8111 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
