Water Wise Rules have been introduced in Albury to encourage the community to think about the importance of water conservation.
Water Wise Rules are a voluntary measure in which residents are urged not to hose down concrete paths and driveways and to avoid watering gardens and lawns between 10:00am and 5:00pm.

As a community we can take a lead on water consumption by working together on a thoughtful approach to the way we use this valuable resource.

Reducing water consumption in and around your home will not only have a positive impact on your usage charges, but it's also good for the environment. Saving water will also reduce the need for new reservoirs and supply systems to be built and will also lessen the costs for treating and pumping water.
