Your educator will provide you with a list of requirements that may be needed for care. The requirements may range from snacks and lunch, nappies, sunscreen, sun hats, extra clothes, appropriate shoes, bottles and formula for babies and comfort items such as dummies and blankets.

As a parent when you visit a prospective new educator, you can ask what extra items you might need to bring to care with your child.

Many parents put extra care items in a small back pack or bag that will go to care each day with your child. It is important to keep the items well stocked and that items are clearly named and labelled.
