Children's Garden
AlburyCity has approved the creation of a Chidren's Garden within the Albury Botanic Gardens. The project is an initiative of the Friends of the Albury Botanic Gardens working group.
The Garden will provide a place where children can enjoy learning about the environment in a safe, creative and fun way, fostering their imaginations and sense of wonder.
The Children's Garden will offer children and families:
- An opportunity for children to experience 'hands on' the wonder of nature.
- An interactive education space themed on the environment and sustainability.
- Experience based learning which explores the links between growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing green produce.
- A space to simulate children's senses through observation and play.
The Albury Botanic Gardens attract around 200,000 visitors per year and is considered to be one of Albury's most important and popular tourist attractions
