Children's Garden
The Children's Garden is now open!
Hidden within the shade and beauty of the Albury Botanic Gardens, the Children's Garden provides a place where children can enjoy learning about the environment in a safe, creative and fun way, fostering their imaginations and sense of wonder.
The play space has a wonderful array of items for children to discover as well as trails to explore. Some of the things which may start your child's imagination running wild is the life-sized dinosaur with interactive speaking tubes, the living cubbies, a fairy temple, wetland and creek line, and the troll cave.
Ideal for families, the Children's Garden will stimulates the senses through, imagination, observation and play.
The project was a combined initiative of AlburyCity and the Friends of the Albury Botanic Gardens Working Group.
Opening times for the Children's Garden are:
- Open from 8.30am til sunset
- Closed every Wednesday except during NSW School Holidays (to rest garden and dinosaurs)
- Closed for eight weeks - Renovation Period (from the start of Term 3 - NSW School Term)
