Sports Albury
Sports Albury is a community based initiative to report to Council on major issues affecting recreation, sport and leisure in the region.
The Vision
To provide innovative leadership and best practice advice for recreation, sport and leisure in Albury.
Major Objectives:
- Report to Council on any major issues affecting the provision of sport, recreation and leisure in the local area.
- Provide access to the information and resources required, ensuring recreation, sport and leisure organisations can continue to offer high quality services and programs to the community.
- Establish links with government and other organisations involved in the provision of recreation, sport and leisure and work with these organisations in a productive manner for the benefit of the local community.
- Create an information source for the community to access the wide range of opportunities offered by the local recreation, sport and leisure providers.
